REGISTRANTS AFTER AUGUST 16 ARE NOT GUARANTEED A SHIRT. Welcome back to another installment of Johnny Roberts Memorial Doubles. For repeat players and newcomers we have some format tweaks in place this year to add some excitement, fun, and challenge to the event. The event is still a bring your own partner doubles event. We are back at the Peak One DGC in Frisco, CO. ****************READ THIS!!******************** The format will be a bit different this year. We will be playing three rounds of 18 holes each round this year. Players will be grouped in one of three pools. During each round two pools will play holes 1-18 as best shot format. One pool will play 19-27 twice as an alternate shot format. Each pool will play only one round as alternate shot and the other two on the best shot course format. We will do our best to mark layouts and ensure that the courses are being played correctly. As in the past, we will have awards for the best team costume and awards for the Spirit of Johnny. The Spirit of Johnny awards is given to members of the disc golf community that represents the aspects of fun and camaraderie that Johnny Roberts was known to embody. We look forward to spending the weekend with you all, in nature, celebrating the legacy of one of Colorado’s most beloved disc golf legends. THIS IS A SANCTIONED EVENT. No dogs are allowed during the round. Mixed AM (male/female) division is Blue division (RAH) Mixed PRO (male/female)division is Gold Division (RPA) $5 from Every Team entry goes to the course fees. Prizes for best team costume!
