For the first time ever we are opening up applications to the public. Previously we have been very selective, with most team members being invited to join the team because of they are as a person, competitor and ambassador for the sport. How do you apply? Compete in the 2024 Team Tryout Tournament. The top 20% in each division will be offered a 1-year contract to represent Mint Discs in 2024. __________________________________________ Note: This is a new style of event for us. Please feel free to ask any questions and we'll answer them as best as possible! We have tried to provide as much information up front and may adjust as needed. __________________________________________ Minimum 3 people per division. We will ask you to move divisions if necessary. All divisions have set caps. And a 5 person waitlist max. $50 Entry - 100% Payout & Players Packs $10 Greens Fees - To be used to improve both courses $5 Ace Pot - Optional and will be donated to 2024 USWDGC if not hit. __________________________________________ Format: (4) Total Rounds 2 - Rounds of PDGA Sanctioned Play (1 at LOB & 1 at SV) 2 - Rounds of Putting Non-Sanctioned (9 holes at LOB & 9 holes at SV) CADDY BOOK: Dec 2023 Putting Format: 9-holes per course Make 0 = 4 (bogey) Make 1 = 3 (par) Make 2 = 2 (birdie) (1) Double Down allowed per 9. Must call before anyone putts on that hole. Make 2 = 1 (ace), Make 1 = 3(par), Make 0 = 5(bogey). __________________________________________ AM Divisions include players pack and payout. Pro Payout will be 100% net entry(minus pdga fees). Paid out via paypal. Payout for Pro & AM divisions will be determined by the PDGA rounds. Putting rounds will not factor in PDGA payout. For the Putting Round, we will award a prize(TBD on value) for first in each division. Pros will be cash, AMs will be merch.
