2025 BDGA Bag Tag Kick-Off Shuffle

First sanctioned tournament of 2025. Come join us for the 2025 BDGA Bag Tag Kick-Off Shuffle. This tournament is open to everyone, but it is primarily for BDGA Bag Tag Members and those who wish to become a Bag Tag Member. Tournament Cost will be $5.00 plus Discgolfscene fees. There will be NO payout for this event. Your Player Pack will be your BDGA Member Tags and your #'d Bag Tag. The $5 registration fee will go to purchase a trophy for the end of the year. The plan is to have multiple shuffles throughout the year during BDGA leagues and specific local tournaments will act as qualifiers. The list of these events will be posted as soon as they become finalized. Bag Tags will work the following way this year: 1) Almost every Bag Tag Shuffle will posted on DISCGOLFSCENE for registration. The cost will be $1.00 to signup. During this you will enter your Tag # at the time of registration. Registration will not open up until 1 week before the event. If your Tag # changes before the event it is YOUR responsibility to UPDATE that Tag #. 2) We will also be using local leagues to manage Bag Tags this year as well. These will NOT be managed on DISCGOLFSCENE. If you would like to participate in tags during leagues (Shillito Spring) (Summer At Vets) (Summer at Jake) (SHillito Fall), you will be required to show up at a scheduled time for a shotgun start. 3) To qualify for the BDGA Bag Tag Trophy Championship, you will be required to participate in specific # of events. NO MORE just holding onto #1 tag and never playing for it unless it is with your buddies. The Bag Tag champion will be determined by qualifying for the END OF THE YEAR BAG TAG CHAMPIONSHIP and then having the lowest score during that event. This event will be a two round PDGA sanctioned event and admittance will be be limited to those that qualified. If you qualify you will be sent an invite to register. 4) You can still play for your tags with your friends during casual play, and you aren't required to play in qualifying events at all.
