Registration schedule: February 3 Women, Juniors February 8 Hole sponsors February 13 Open registration for all 2025 Spring Runoff will be a 3-day A-tier tournament (one round per day), which will utilize Nicholas Sheran Park and Aperture Park courses. 2025 Spring Runoff will be a major participating event of the Alberta series, "The Cold Garden Cup". COURSES: Nicholas Sheran Park - 245 McMaster Blvd West Aperture Park - 4401 University Drive West A pool: two rounds at Nicholas Sheran Park and one round at Aperture Park. B pool: two rounds at Aperture Park and one round at Nicholas Sheran Park. AMATEURS The amateur portion of this tournament will be a "true amateur event", as defined by the PDGA. Trophies will be awarded to top finishers in each division, and all amateur players will receive player packs equal in value to 110%+ of their net registration fee! Players will not receive merchandise payouts. https://www.pdga.com/td/true-amateur PROS Pro cash payments will be sent following the tournament by PayPal. Minimum $3000 added cash. All information will be sent to players via email prior to the tournament. Please ensure you are at your starting hole, at the correct course, at least 5 minutes prior to your tee time. Penalties will be assessed to players who are late to the tee. There will be an optional in-person players meeting / gathering on Friday evening at Nicholas Sheran Park at 7pm. This will be one opportunity for players to gather together and to ask any questions you may have about the upcoming rounds. Those in attendance can enter their name into a draw for a prize! Vendors and silent auction will be set up at tournament headquarters, at Nicholas Sheran Park, starting 3pm on Friday. Food will be available for purchase at both courses throughout the weekend, and there are several options in the vicinity for restaurants and pubs. Player pack pick up will run 3-8pm on Friday. Pro players are not required to check in. Long drive competition will take place at Nicholas Sheran Park on Sunday at 6pm. Putting competition will take place at Nicholas Sheran Park. Drop in Saturday or Sunday between 9am and 4pm to compete. There is one tournament ace pot, and the ace pot will be split equally among everyone who hits an ace during the tournament, and has paid into the ace pot. If no aces are hit, we will do a draw for 1/2 the ace pot following the tournament, for those who paid in, and the other half will go to the LDGA to be put toward course improvements or future events. Additional prizes will go to any female or junior player who hits an ace during the tournament! Divisions with fewer than 4 players may be collapsed with the exceptions of female, junior and senior divisions. Pass-through fees will include $5/player PDGA fee, $5/player TD fee and a $2/player bathroom fee (portable toilet rentals). BEER GARDENS - Nicholas Sheran The beer gardens open at 10am until the end of play on all days of tournament play. They will be selling Cold Garden beers and hard iced tea, as well as a non-alcoholic beer from Tuesday brewing. There will be a portable POS system so they will accept credit, debit, and cash.
