2nd Annual Death Rattle at The Last Church C-Tier Generated By: Grit Discs! Location! International Car Forest at The Last Church PSA - Not cart friendly 1111 East Crystal Ave Goldfield NV, 89013 We will be in Goldfield and at the course Thursday morning as soon as it’s light enough to work! Anyone is welcome to come out and start practicing. A little history on goldfield Nevada, Goldfield was founded in 1902 and quickly became the largest town in Nevada with more than 20,000 residents by 1907. Goldfield was a boomtown in the first decade of the 20th century due to the discovery of gold – between 1903 and 1940, Goldfield's mines produced more than $86 million at then-current prices. Much of the town was destroyed by a fire in 1923, the fire being caused by a moonshine still explosion. Wyatt and Virgil Earp came to Goldfield in 1904. Virgil was hired as a Goldfield deputy sheriff in January 1905. This town has soooo much history good and bad. The goldfield hotel and school have been showcased in the ghost adventures and those locations have proved to be very haunted over several episodes! Now on to the course located at the international car forest! This course is wide open! Be prepared for wind and possibly chilly temperatures. In true Grit fashion there will be mando’s, single, double, triple and maybe expect an island or two! Hiking shoes or boots are a must, this course is being designed around old cars, metal objects and things others may view as trash. The metal objects on the course have been exposed to many years of the elements so please be careful and keep a watchful eye around the course. We aren’t expecting much wildlife being that the temperature should be cooler but I’ve been surprised before. The course is not flat, there will be elevation changes (small hills / washouts ) to navigate. I would recommend backpack instead of carts! Haunted tours are available and we will be talking with the tour guides and asking for them to open both locations on Friday night! Please make sure to record your tour so we can post videos and watch you scream or have hard evidence that ghosts exist!
