2nd Annual Mixed Doubles at JICP Presented by Foundation Disc Golf Charleston: A Throw Pink Event (CEP Charity - Unrated)

We are excited to partner with Throw Pink for this event! Throw Pink is a non-profit that supports women’s health initiatives through disc golf events nationwide that encourage women and girls to get out and be more active. This is both a fundraiser AND an event aimed at keeping costs low to encourage more teams to sign up and ultimately, get more ladies involved in disc golf. Registration costs will cover player packs, trophies, and other tournament expenses (sanctioning agreement, day of supplies, etc). Let me know if needing help with registration cost. Mixed team- male/female All skill levels are welcome! When choosing a division, team rating is based on the highest rated team member. Player packs: -Hoodie tee w/ tournament logo -Sponsor DryvBagz -Throw Pink pencil -Throw Pink sticker -Throw Pink wristband -$5 Throw Pink gift card -OTB Discs/ sponsor sticker -1 raffle ticket Players must register by 1/8/24 to ensure they will receive the requested size of the hoodie tee 2 Rounds/ Shotgun start Round 1: White tees, best throw Round 2: Men- blue tees holes 1,3,4,9,10, Women- white tees, best throw As a XC-tier (CEP Charity- Unrated) event, non member fees have been waived by the PDGA. Waiver: NO divisions (amateur or professional) will receive a payout. ALL divisions will receive a player pack. All money raised will be donated to Throw Pink! This is a “True Amateur” event. The true spirit of organized amateur athletics is competing in a sport purely for the love of that sport and the act of competition itself. Trophies will be presented to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise. First place trophies will be awarded to each division. Any divisions with 18 registered players will also be awarded second place trophies. Any divisions with 24 registered players will be awarded third place trophies. Things to be aware of while at James Island County Park: 1. The JICP disc golf course cannot be closed for the event and must remain open for public use during the tournament. Please respect the patrons that might be onsite that are not playing in the tournament. 2. The park opens at 8AM. The gate to the climbing wall and disc golf course will not open until 8:30AM. 3. Alcohol is not permitted on the disc golf course. 4. The JICP gate entrance fee is $2 per person and is not covered through the tournament registration cost. You will be given a receipt when you go through the gate. If you leave and come back without the receipt you will be charged again.
