Barnett Park Championship (PRO weekend)

Barnett Park Championship Pro Weekend 2024 The Orlando Disc Golf club is proud to celebrate the 22nd (2003-2024) annual running of the Barnett Park Championships. This historic tournament will again be played on one of the oldest courses in the state, Gordon Barnett Park. Boasting former winners; Ken Climo, JohnE McCray (10x), Eric McCabe, Calvin Heimburg and Gregg Hosfeld, this tournament has a past of bringing some of the biggest names to Orlando for a weekend of exciting disc golf. Part of this grand tradition that we are pleased to revive in 2024 is the "Championship Nine" a big money non-sanctioned nine hole competition for the top finishers in the tournament. This has always been a heavily spectated, entertaining event. This year the outrageous purse for the Championship Nine will be $5,000 generously donated by Tyler Kobylinski. PDGA Sanctioned three round B-Tier Two rounds Saturday one Sunday. Six qualifiers from sanctioned three rounds are eligible for big money Championship Nine with $5,000 payout Pool Assignments A Pool 80 spots MPO, MP40, MA1 Long tees B Pool 72 spots: MP50 2x Long tee, 1x Short tee MP60/70 Short tees FPO, FA1, FP40/50/60 Short tees top Female finisher offered spot in Champ Nine Course Schedule: A Pool: Northside / Parkside / Northside B Pool: Parkside / Northside / Parkside Start Times Shotgun Start for all rounds. Times subject to change Sat Round 1 9:00AM, Round 2 goal 1:30PM Sun Final Round 10:30AM, Champ 9 goal 2:30PM Payout: Pro Divisions: Entry fees + B.P.C. added cash, minus PDGA and administration fees.
