BC Women's Series 6 at McArthur Island

Welcome to the sixth event, and final tour stop, of the inaugural 2024 British Columbia Women's Series! The BCWS is a series of 7 events held throughout British Columbia from April to September. The big series finale will be held at Raptor's Knoll in September 2024. More info can be found here https://www.discgolfscene.com/series/36857/bc-womens-series-2024 BCWS #6:Women in the Willows sponsored by MVP Disc Sports will be held on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwepemc Peoples, at the McArthur Island Park Disc Golf Course, right beside the powerful and beautiful Thompson River. As you play through the beautiful willow trees on this course, be sure to look up and take in the beauty of the trees. This course offers you river views and rolling hills, as well as osprey, eagle, deer, and marmot sightings while you play. You are invited to connect to your feet present on the ground, take a deep breath, and look up; in gratitude for this place. Check the schedule posted for more information about start times, lunch details, award ceremonies, and player windup. You will have an email with with caddy book and information before the registration closes, and then finalized once registration is closed. Pro and Am divisions will receive a player pack. Trophies for 1, 2, 3 per division. Pros will additionally be paid out in cash (etransfer) Pass Through Fee breakdown: PDGA sanctioning fee: $2 BC Women's Series Fee: $5 (to series payouts) Insurance fee: $2 KDGC Green Fee: $10 A huge THANK YOU to the Kamloops Disc Golf Club for their support of this tournament. A huge THANK YOU to the PDGA for waiving non-member fees for all those players participating in their first-ever tournament! BC Women's Series points will be awarded for this event. Optional Ace Pot $5 Mac Island holes 4 and 11 are good targets! If the Ace Pot is not won in this tournament, it will carry over to the Series Championship Tournament where 50% will be used as an overall Series Ace Pot and 50% will be donated to a B.C. Women’s charity to be determined later. Juniors Per the PDGA rules, cards with Juniors under 13 MUST be accompanied by a non-playing adult for the duration of each round. Division Layouts for Both Rounds FPO, FA1 & FP40 Layout Par Default for the course (as on UDisc) FA2, FA3, FA4, FA40, FA50, FA60, FJ18, FJ15, FJ12, FJ10 (Pars adjusted on holes 5, 17, Please note that we reserve the right to shuffle divisions between pools and pool sizes based on registration. Scoring We will be using PDGA digital scorecards for this event, but paper scorecards will be available if you need them. In accordance with Rule 808 Scoring, ALL players on each card MUST keep score. Refunds will not be permitted after registration closes - refund requests can be submitted through DiscGolfScene.
