Birdie Presents: Kicking Cancer In Support of the B+ Foundation. We are excited to announce our 4th annual charity disc golf tournament in support of the B+ Foundation! The B+ Foundation is about Kids Helping Kids Fight Cancer through activities such as dance marathons, 5Ks, T-shirts sales, and for the fourth year - disc golf! The foundation supports research and advocacy and is the largest provider of financial assistance to families of children with cancer nationwide. Throughout high school, I participated in the B+ Foundation club. I wanted to host this tournament to combine my passion for playing disc golf with wanting to help raise money to support cancer research. In three years, we have raised over $15,000! Cancer research is close to my heart because I have lost my grandparents and my aunt to cancer. Our fourth annual charity disc golf tournament will take place on Sunday June 9, 2024 at Brandywine Creek State Park. All proceeds raised from the tournament will be donated to the B+ Foundation. This will be a single round tournament: The tournament will be held from 9:00am to 12:30pm, with 5 separate divisions (Open, MA1, and MA2), all playing to the long baskets. MA3 and MA4 will be playing to the short baskets. Rounds will receive a PDGA rating. This year we are again pleased to join forces with Birdie Disc Golf Supply as our lead sponsor, and each participant will receive Marvel Putter from Birdie Disc Golf. Lunch will be provided for free by Pickles and Chip's Deli! This tournament is an XC-Tier (Charity) event and 100% of the tournament fees will be donated to the B+ Foundation. We will award prizes to those in the top half of their division. I hope you will join our tournament and help us meet our goal of raising $5,000 for the B+ Foundation. Max Leffler
