Bittner Park Ice Bowl (CEP Charity - Rated)

The Fairfield County Disc Club (FCDC) Presents the 2025 Bittner Park Ice Bowl to benefit the Guilford Interfaith Ministries (aka meals on Wheels). Sunday, 3/16/2025 Bittner Park 1340 Durham Road - Guilford, CT Tournament Director: Craig Smolin Check in will begin at 7:25 am to 8:25am Shotgun start at 8:45am sharp – Round 1 Round 2 should start 45 minutes (time for lunch) after the last card finishes round 1 Virtual Players Meeting will be conducted via email. BAD WEATHER CANNOT CANCEL THIS EVENT!!! PDGA C-Tier Two Rounds Stroke Play 72 Players Available spots will then be filled from the waiting list in order of sign up (as determined by the DGS registration system). MPO - Cash Payouts AMS – Trophies and/or Merchandise Layouts: All divisions to play short tees to red baskets for both Round 1 and Round 2. NOTE TD reserves the right to change layouts for all divisions based on course conditions, weather, and/or daylight for both the first and/or second rounds. Additionally, if course conditions or weather necessitate it, a combination of layouts maybe used. Lastly, pro divisions may be allowed to play a modified layout if agreed upon prior to the start of round 2 (must be unanimous amongst all players in each division). ALL AMATEUR PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A 2025 ICE BOWL PIN AND MINI. Player Entry Fees: This is a PDGA Competition Endowment Program event and the $15 non-member/non-current fee will be waived. The PDGA CEP rules state that the total donations must (at a minimum) include the $3 sanctioning fee per player (increased in 2025 from $2), a matching donation amount, and 25% of the net entry fees. While the Bittner Park Ice Bowl has consistently met this requirement for many years, FCDC acknowledges that the manner in which we've done so in the past has not been consistent with PDGA guidance ... we can and will do better going forward with this and all other CEP events! FCDC donated $1,200 to GIM last year .. let's raise more this year!!! PDGA Digital Scoring will be in play; instructions on how scoring will work for the event will be sent out to the field prior to the event. Ace Pot Ace pot will be in effect. Optional $5 buy-in. If no aces hit, entirety of the ace pot will be donated to the GIM. CTP prizes to be determined Hole Sponsorship: $25.00. For $25 become a hole sponsor! You'll get a nifty copy of your sponsorship sign as well as shout-outs on our social media and at the event. Use the opportunity to advertise your business, or just to broadcast your support for disc golf. Y Refund policy FCDC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. An unpaid waitlist will be held at Disc Golf Scene, and refunds will be issued in accordance with PDGA guidelines.
