Blomidon Fall Disc Golf Event

Welcome to another disc golf event at Blomidon Golf Club hosted by Corner Brook Disc Golf! The Blomidon Disc Golf Course is a temporary 18-hole course installed at the Blomidon Golf Course in Corner Brook NL. In general, the course does not follow the golf course layout. It is much more open than the Corner Brook Disc Golf Course, but there are still plenty of obstacles. Throwing for distance is an asset. We intend to change the layout considerably this time by adding new holes to the back portion of the property and removing a few holes from previous layouts. Players can choose to play one or two casual rounds in the general division or participate in a two-round PDGA-sanctioned C-tier tournament. There will be three layouts for different skill levels. The red layout is for beginner players (MA3/FA3/some junior divisions), the white layout is for intermediate players (MA2/FA2/MA40/FA40/other junior divisions), and the blue layout is for advanced players (MPO/FPO/MA1/FA1). General division players may choose whichever layout they'd like. Both groups will receive a player pack that includes the choice of a disc or $25 credit at Chain Reaction Disc Golf Supply. Tournament players will be eligible for trophies and prizes from Chain Reaction and the FlickLine Community Connect program. Trophies will be awarded to the top three in all divisions with at least three players. Personalized trophies will be distributed after the event (we will have generic trophies at the event for photos). Pass through fees (included in registration) are a $13 greens/facility/bathroom fee and $2 PDGA player fees. For tournament players, non-PDGA members will have to pay a $10 temporary PDGA membership fee. Optional $15 lunch includes a sandwich from the soon-to-open Bread and Butter, plus chips and a drink. During and between rounds, players will have access to the Dormston Golf lounge, which has tables, comfortable seating and bathrooms.
