CADL Inc Presents: The Midtown Sponsored by Beer Study

Welcome to the 2024 Midtown! Capital Area Disc League Inc and the Town Of Cary are proud to host this years Tim Selinske United States Masters Championships! This years Midtown will be used as a "practice event" for the TSUSMC. This A -Tier will feature 3 of the 5 courses being used for the TSUSMC. The rules, out of bounds, pin positions and tee pad assignments will be set up in the same way that we hope to have them for the Major. CADL's hope in providing this event is to gain positive constructive feedback for the betterment of the TSUSMC, while also providing an outstanding A-tier experience combined with some good southern hospitality! We will have a players party on Friday March 1st at Beer Study - Durham as part of the event. Beer Study is a local bottle shop that has served the disc golf community well over the past several years. Many of the employees are frolfers themselves! They are kind enough to sponsor several events every year and we are excited to have them on board for this event! (Beer Study Durham Address - 2501 University Dr #4, Durham, NC 27707) Pools: Pros All Pros will be in the A Pool. A Pool - Diavolo (Fri), Jones (Saturday), Diavolo (Sunday) A pool will be capped 144 players, with no divisional caps. Ams Ams will play Diavolo and Middle Creek on Saturday and Jones on Sunday. B Pool (MA1, MA40, MA50) Diavolo (Saturday AM), Middle Creek (Saturday PM), Jones (Sunday Tee times) C Pool (all other ams) Middle Creek (Saturday AM), Diavolo (Saturday PM), Jones (Sunday Tee Times) Layouts will be what is anticipated to the TSUSMC! DIavolo All Pros except MP65, MA40 and MA1 - 18 Holes, all Blue Tees (1-4, Fusion 5/6, 7, 8, 9, Fusion 10/11, 12, Fusion 13/14, 15, 16, Fusion 17/18, 19, 20, 21, 22 All others - 18 holes, White tees (same pins as above) Jones All Longs, 18 holes (skip hole 3) Middle Creek 18 holes, All longs. We will play hole 0 and use 3s longer pin (and not play 4) Ams will be capped at 144 players with no more than 72 players in a division. Please note that these course assignments may not necessarily match what is played in TSUSM. This is a true amater event. PLAYERS MUST REGISTER FOR THE EVENT BY FEBRUARY 22ND. ANY PLAYERS WHO REGISTER AFTER THIS DATE WILL HAVE TO PAY A $10 LATE FEE. ANY AMATEUR PLAYER WHO REGISTERS AFTER FEBRUARY 22ND WILL NOT RECEIVE A PLAYERS PACK. THEY WILL RECEIVE A CREDITED VOUCHER TO BASKET BASHERS DISC GOLF INSTEAD.
