Central West Virginia Cup

This is the first year of the Central West Virginia Cup. The first year it will be ran by Disc Golf Sports Center and the second year it will be ran by Mad Dog Disc Golf. It will rotate year to year there on out. The inagural year will be limited to the first 8 teams. In consideration of that there will be 8 teams. There will be two (2) pools. Each pool will play each team one time within there pool. The final nine will be pool A 1st place against Pool B 1st place then the 2nd vs 2nd and 3rd vs 3rd and 4th vs 4th. This will guarantee all players 4 rounds of nine holes. The 1st place team will win the "CUP". Players pack will be choice of any disc at Disc Golf Sports Center. (Pick up after completion of rounds). Team based, 9 hole match play. Teams must have one of each divsion to play. Example - a.) MA1,FA2, MA3, MA4 b.) FA1, MA2, FA3, MA4 c.) MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4 Note any player can play up in any divsion , but not down. Any pro can play moving to Am Divsion appropriately (rating <975) Four (4) rounds of 9 holes. Starting at Coonskin. MA1'/FA1's will play long to long. MA2's/FA2's will play short to long. MA3/FA3 and MA4/FA4 will be short to short. At Redeemer MA1/FA1 Blue course. All others white course. Hole scoring Win = 1 point Draw =1/2 point Loss = 0 point (ties do not "push" during match play) Match Scoring Win= 1 point Draw = 1/2 point Loss = 0 point All points earned goes towards your team. The first three round points do not carry over to the finals Pre - Finals placement 1.) Most Team points 2.) Most head-to-head results (tiebreaker # 1) 3.) Most holes won as a team overall (tiebreaker #2) Finals 1.) Head to Head Points in Final 2.) Most holes won as a team inf inals (tiebreaker# 1) 3.) Most holes won as a team overall (tiebreaker # 2)
