Welcome to Chains Addiction 2024! A 1 round, flex-start PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier on the Red or Red/Green course (depending on division) here at Kayak Point. Come join us for our first sanctioned event of 2024! This event will include a fundraiser raffle to raise funds for our upcoming B-Tiers! More details below. Registration through Discgolfscene.com is required. This is a PDGA Sanctioned event and follows all PDGA rules, players are responsible for knowing and adhering to all PDGA rules. There have been several big rule changes made for the 2024 season. Please make sure you have reviewed all the new and current rules. Entry fee of $40 includes: -Discounted day passes ($13) -PDGA fee ($2) -Cash payouts via PayPal for Pros/Store Credit for Ams ($25) Optional CTP buy in = $3 Optional Ace Pot = $2 --------------------------- LAYOUTS: Red Layout: All Pro Divisions, MA1, MA2, MA3, MA50, MA60, FA1, FA2, FA40 Red/Green Layout: FA50, FA60, FA3, MA4, FA4, MJ15, FJ15 --------------------------- TEE TIMES: Flex start; players will choose a card/tee time. Cards of up to 4 players can include players competing in a mix of divisions, make sure to double check your division's layout. All cards must have a minimum of 3 players. --------------------------- PLAYER CHECK-IN: Players are required to check-in at the Pro Shop at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time to get the PDGA Live Scoring passcode. Additionally, players are required to be at the starting hole at least 5 minutes before your scheduled tee-time. --------------------------- LIVE SCORING: Scores will be tracked using PDGA Live Scoring available at pdga.com/score or the PDGA Live Scoring App. The passcode will be provided at player check-in. At least 1 player per card must keep score using PDGA Live Scoring. *REMINDER NEW 2024 RULE- ALL PLAYERS MUST KEEP SCORE VIA PDGA LIVE SCORING OR A PAPER SCORE CARD All 2024 rule revisions can be reviewed on the PDGA website https://www.pdga.com/news/pdga-official-rules-disc-golf-and-competition-manual-updated-2024 --------------------------- PAYOUTS: Cash payouts to Pros via PayPal and scrip to Kayak Point DGR Pro Shop for Ams. --------------------------- PLAYOFFS: In the event of a tie for first place, players will have the option to play a sudden-death playoff consisting of holes 1-4 on the Red course. As this is a flex-start tournament, there is a possibility that one or more of the players in a tie can't stay for a playoff. In that case, there will be a tie for 1st place and the winning will be split evenly. A second trophy can be provided but will take some time. --------------------------- FUNDRAISER RAFFLES: We will be giving away a practice basket, rare discs from the vault and more to raise funds for our upcoming B-Tiers Kayak Open and Throwchella. Raffle tickets are available at the pro shop up until the drawing of prizes which will take place following the tournament round. --------------------------- GOLF CARTS: Golf carts will not be available to players during tournament rounds.
