Drive to USWDGC Tournament Series #2 - Chapel Lake

Louisville Ladies Disc Golf is excited to offer the first sanctioned event at Chapel Lake Disc Golf Course! This tournament is open to all players (not just women). We want to thank Dave Greenwell for another excellent course design in the area, and his partnership in facilitating the conversation leading to this exciting event! We also want to extend our gratitude to several members of the Jeffersonville community for their support. We want to thank Paul Northam, the Director of the Jeffersonville Parks Department, for allowing us to use Chapel Lake and for being extremely supportive of Disc Golf in our community. We want to thank Jim Ashton for his work on so many facets of this course coming to life from beginning to end. Finally, we want to thank Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore for his pro parks agenda. Thank you to all the people that put so much work into this beautiful course! This is a sanctioned PDGA C-Tier event. It is a one-day, two-round, shotgun start tournament. There will be a 9am tee time for the first round, followed by a one hour lunch break before the second round. Round 1 - all divisions will play the Blue Tee Layout (tall grass not OB or hazard). Round 2- MPO and MA1 will play the Pro Champion Layout playing the tall grass as hazard. All others divisions will play the Blue Tee Layout. Amateur Player Pack: -One Innova premium plastic disc All pro, CTP, and Ace Pool payouts will be handled via PayPal. All amateur payouts will be handled through Disc Golf Mart. Fee Breakdown: AMs- $2 to the PDGA $5 to our Drive to USWDGC fund $10 to players pack $18 to payouts Pros- $2 to the PDGA $5 to our Drive to USWDGC fund $28 to payouts Sponsorship is available for $20 and will 100% go towards our Drive to USWDGC fund. This will include a tee sign advertising your business, or thanking individuals/clubs offering their support. You can also sponsor the entire series for $150! This will pay the entry fee for one woman! It will include a tee sign at all future tournaments in this series (October - June). A tournament series focused on fundraising to pay the entry cost of our local ladies (and beyond) who will be competing at the 2025 United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships. Without any fundraising efforts, we had 8 ladies compete across 6 divisions in 2024 and our very own Nikki Haney won the FA3 division. USWDGC is a Major and in 2025 it will take place in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in June. Between the entry fee, travel, lodging, and food, attending this event is quite expensive. Our goal through this series is to build community and ease the financial burden for any lady who wants to go to USWDGC 2025. We will be hosting monthly tournaments beginning in October 2024 and running through June 2025.
