Flagstaff Flex (Session 1)

Welcome to the first session of Flagstaff sanctioned league play for 2024! This session will be a flex start format, each Thursday, from May 30 to July 26 (with a one week break for July 4th, may serve as a makeup round but still TBD). Rounds can start after 5 am and must conclude before 9 pm. You will need a minimum of 3 league players (or 2 with and a league admin) on your card in order for the round to count. Courses will rotate every 2 weeks according to the following schedule: Weeks 1 and 2: McPherson Weeks 3 and 4: Tuthill Weeks 5 and 6: Thorpe Weeks 7 and 8: TBD Weekly payouts (top 40% per division) will be awarded based on the lowest scores in each division each week. Session payouts (top 40% per division) will be determined by players' 6 highest scoring weeks. League points will be awarded based on the following: - 1 point for playing that week - 1 point for each player that you beat in your division For example, if Player A plays and defeats 3 players in their division, they would score 4 points for that week. There is no minimum amount of weeks that you need to play; however, this format encourages you to play each week to try and improve your weekly scores. Cost breakdown of the entry fee is as follows: - $10 for PDGA Fees and Club Fundraising - $3 per week to weekly payouts - $2 per week to session payouts All payouts will be handled at the end of the session via PayPal. Divisions of fewer than 3 people will likely be combined for session payouts. Communication on division combination will be announced as soon as possible to provide full transparency to players and give them the opportunity to change division if they so choose. The league directors are open to modifying league format for sanctioned league sessions in 2024 and moving forward. We encourage you to provide feedback to the league director before, during, and after this session to help improve future sanctioned leagues.
