G-TOWN GET DOWN

The G-Town Get Down is the 1st rated tournament at Scott County DGC. It is a 2 round, C-Tier, Disc Golf Tournament. Registration closes Friday, March 7th at 10:00 PM. There will be no day-of registration. This tournament will be capped at 72 total players. All players will receive their choice of one course stamped disc which should be picked up either before the player’s meeting or during the break. Assigned starting holes and scores can be found at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/89505 We will have a brief player’s meeting at 8:40 and will tee off at 9:00AM following a 2 minute warning and a start signal. There will be a 1 hour lunch break between rounds. The 2nd round start time and new tee assignments will be posted during the break at the above PDGA link. OPEN $35 All AMs $25 CTP $2 (optional) ACE $3 (optional) The top 45% of players will receive payout. The maximum available funds will go to payouts. Payouts will be provided by Bang-A-Chain and will take place shortly after all cards have completed Round 2 and the payout spreadsheet is complete. For store credit, you will need to create an account online at bangachain.com. PAYOUTS: A link to payouts will be posted in the comments section here and on our FaceBook page shortly after the completion of round 2 as the final cards are finishing. NOTE: Players must be at their assigned holes and ready to tee off 9:00AM. Players who are late will be penalized (Par plus 4) for every hole missed without exception. 1st Place Ties: Any 1st place ties will require a tie breaker by playoff. Hole order TBD by TD. Players will play on the assigned holes with alternating tee offs until a hole is won. SCORING: All players on each card will need to keep score using their phone’s web browser or the PDGA app. Before round start, go to PDGA.com/scores and enter CODE “GetDown25”. Scorecard Basics: https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/help *At the end of your rounds, be sure that all conflicts are resolved and that all players have submitted a matching scorecard before leaving the course.
