Griffin Glow Tournament

This is a PDGA Sanctioned Glow Tournament. Griffins Very first Glow PDGA Sanctioned Glow tournament. ** Reminder , in any PDGA Sanctioned event , normally stickers/glow tape aren’t allowed . But , as long as I “Declare a night round” as the TD. It is legal to use Glow Tape or LED’s . Luckily it will be a full moon and that course has Street lights all through out the entire course . But the discs you use need to be actual glow discs . This one is sponsored and powered by Most Accurate Discs . Griffin Georgia’s first and only Local Disc Golf Shop. Since 2021. Update as of 2/9/25. MA1/MA2/MA40 & MA50 play the longs . Everyone else plays Shorts . Players packs will include 1 Glow Disc , Glow Flashlight with Batteries , Towel and Sharpie . I will have Glow from MVP/Axiom/Streamline, Innova , Discraft , Prodigy and Lone Star, and DiscMania . And for only $1.50 I will have Pizza Dinner with dessert and a drink for all players . Dinner will be Little Cesar’s (and I don’t get the Hot N Ready Pizza, I get the one that has to be made fresh) . So it has more cheese and pepperoni and is fresher than the Hot N Ready Pizzas. There will also be Coca Cola , Sprite , and at least 1 Diet Soda option for those trying to limit sugar intake . There will also be a sweet dessert treat as well . All players get at least 2 pieces of pizza , but since some only get 1 and I always order at least 2 extra pizzas , there will be enough for a lot players to have 3 pieces . This is 2 rounds of 18 holes at the brand new and amazingly fun Wings Over GFA in Griffin Ga. We will have the 6’ basket installed by that time for hole 5 . I will also have every tee pad lite up and Glow Cash CTP’s and Glow Free CTP’s giving away a bunch of sweet glow stuff . If you have ever played one of my tournaments, you know that I love to have sweet giveaways . It’s one of the #1 things players say to me before the tournament. And if we do get close to 72 players and no one hits the ace , Cash CTP’s double. But , the last tournament we had 2 Aces and the league round before that I had a guy clean out the ace Pot . (Darn you McGregor LOL) But the Cash CTP’s should be over $150 if no one gets an ace . And they stay out both rounds so you get 2 cracks at the Cash CTP’s .
