Huck For Hunger Ice Bowl 2 (CEP Charity - Rated)

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Huck For Hunger Ice Bowl Charity Disc Golf Tournament! Huck for Hunger is the first official Ice Bowl® tournament in the Phoenix, AZ area and will benefit the Harold and Florence Drucker Comfort Food Pantry. (An Ice Bowl® is a disc golf event, most typically held in winter, with a mission to increase local awareness of disc golf by raising funds for local and regional charities, with an emphasis on fighting food insecurity. Find out more at Icebowlhq.com) FORMAT: Participants will each compete in a single round of 18 holes - playing twice around the 9 hole loop, throwing to alternate baskets the second time around. Temporary baskets will be added to the course to make 18 unique holes. The temporary layout is available on UDisc and the caddy book can be found at https://m.discgolfscene.com/tournament-docs/87524/huck-for-hunger-ice-bowl-2-1010-huck-for-hunger-caddy-book-with-descriptions.pdf FINANCIALS: Per the PDGA Competition Endowment Program guidelines for sanctioned charity events, your gross entry fee will be allocated as follows... - $10 PDGA non-current member Fee - WAIVED! - $2 PDGA per player fee is donated to the event charity and must be matched by the event - In addition to the matched $2 PDGA per player fee, a min. of 25% of the remaining net entry fees must also be donated to event charity. (Example: Gross entry fee for amateur divisions = $40; Amount to charity = $13; Amount remaining for players packs, prizes and tournament expenses = $27) Last year we donated $1,213 cash to the Harold and Florence Drucker Comfort Food Pantry. Not bad for our first time, but I hope to blow that out of the water this year. PLAYERS PACKS, PRIZES, & PAYOUTS: A custom trophy will be awarded to the winners of each division that has at least two players registered by 12/26/2024. Professional players will receive a payout based on net entry fees after mandatory donation is deducted. Amateur players will each receive a players pack including a custom T-shirt, and a gift card to Disc Golf HQ in Mesa, AZ. Special thanks to Disc Golf HQ for donating gift cards for the players pack.
