Hyzerlilies WGE + CWE

Disc Golf Saskatchewan is proud to host the 2024 Women’s Global Event: Hyzerlilies disc golf tournament + CWE! On May 18th, women from all-around-the-world will play two rounds of disc golf at local participating Women's Global Events (WGE). Scores will be submitted and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." Each player will be able to see where they rank in their division compared to every other woman that participated in a WGE in the same division. On May 19th an optional third round will take place and all three rounds will count towards the 2024 Canadian Women’s Event. The Canadian Women’s Event (CWE) will rank participants against all other Canadian disc golfers that participate. Registration will open on April 1st at 6:00 am and close May 13th. The Caddy Book will be e-mailed to all registered players. Your hole assignments for the first round will be in that E-Mail. May 18th will have 2 rounds of 18 holes played by each player with a lunch break between rounds at Centennial Disc Golf Course, in North Battleford, SK. The first round will begin at 9:30 am. The second round will begin at 1:30 pm. Stop by the registration table at 1:00 pm to learn your second round hole assignment. The optional Sunday May 19th Single Round will begin at 9:30 am at River View Disc Golf Course, in Battleford, SK. This is a PDGA C-Tier sanctioned tournament. All women and junior disc golf players at all skill levels are welcome. While recommended, you do not require a current PDGA membership to participate. All non-member player fees are waived for all divisions at WGE events so the event is more accessible to new players. Kadie Hozempa is the TD for this event. We ask that when you arrive for the tournament that you come to the registration table and sign in. We will hold a quick players meeting at 9:00 am on Saturday and Sunday to discuss any questions, concerns or changes at this time. Player Packs: The first 35 registrants will receive a WGE 2024 sponsored player’s pack. Packs will be handed out when you sign in at tournament headquarters. Additional registrations will still receive a similar player's pack. Disc Golf Saskatchewan Membership: By registering for this event, you are also getting a one year membership to Disc Golf Saskatchewan. The membership can get you some cool perks like early registration for future events hosted by Disc Golf Saskatchewan. Disc Golf Saskatchewan is also sponsoring this event, which has been put towards subsidizing the registration cost for players.
