Kansas City Flying Disc Challenge presented by Discmania

Welcome to the 2024 Kansas City Flying Disc Challenge! In the MPO and FPO divisions, the 2024 Kansas City Disc Challenge will be a regional qualifier for the DGPT TruBank Des Moines Challenge presented by DGA, July 5-7. The KCFDC will award two FPO and two MPO spots (players are responsible for entry fees). To be eligible, players in each division must meet the 2024 minimum ratings requirements. This tournament will be four rounds over two or three days on four different courses: Paradise Pointe - Woodhenge (Chainstar) Paradise Pointe - Black Thorn (Chainstar) Bad Rock Creek (Discatcher) Water Works Park (Mach X) https://maps.app.goo.gl/aPUJpii5LQrR6MJcA Tentative pool assignments (each pool caps at 72) and pool schedules: Pool A: MPO Pool B: FPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, MA1, MA40 Pool C: FA1, MA2, MA50 Pool D: All other divisions. Pool A: Bad Rock Creek mixed, Black Thorn, Woodhenge, Bad Rock Creek (Liberty Gold, MPO) Pool B: Bad Rock Creek mixed, Woodhenge, Black Thorn, Bad Rock Creek (Liberty Gold, FPO) Pool C: Water Works, Bad Rock Creek Bluish, Black Thorn, Woodhenge Pool D: Bad Rock Creek Bluish, Water Works, Woodhenge, Black Thorn Warm up areas: Water Works has limited warm up areas. There is a small warm up area with practice basket to the east of Hole 12. There is an additional practice putting basket in the island (but it's a Mach III, I think - not a Mach X for sure). Bad Rock Creek has fields available for warm up. Woodhenge/Black Thorn are in a complex with three courses; Beaver Creek is the third course and is not part of the tournament. There is a practice basket for putting near hole 1 of Black Thorn, and a basket from Beaver immediately across the street from Black Thorn hole 1. There are also some open areas for warming up throughout the complex. Woodhenge has a practice basket near hole 13 tee. As always, thanks to our sponsors and partners! Before the attendant is on duty, it is an honor system. Whether it's enforced, that's another matter, but KCFDC takes no responsibility if you do not pay and are ticketed. I recommend being early and carpooling to minimize parking fees. Amateur payout expires 9/30/2024. Pass-through fee per PDGA rules: $4/player PDGA fees $3/player KCDG fees $4/player TD fees Additional fees for portapotties, if necessary, will be added to pass through fees. See section "Tour Standards" and Pass Through fees.
