Kingston Downs Classic

This year marks the third iteration of the annual Kingston Downs Classic! The Kingston Downs Classic is a B-Tier played over two days, one round each day. Kingston Downs is a family-owned and operated 5,000+ acre property situated on the Etowah River, conveniently located a few miles outside of Rome, GA and 45 minutes north of metro Atlanta. Our course will be set on a small section of the property with the Pavilion serving as tournament central. Camping is available on site for Friday and Saturday night. The course is designed for Advanced/Open players but with its mostly open fairways, anyone who is an experienced tournament disc golf player should be able to easily navigate the course. Because this course is designed for higher level players, there will be no Novice, or Juniors divisions offered. Everyone will play from the same tees to the same baskets. Other divisions, while open to sign up, will be consolidated if necessary. -Just a reminder that Kingston Downs is a Temp Course and will likely have natural teeing surfaces The course will be open to practice Friday all day for everyone! Am entry will consist of a $35 players pack and a $40 course fee for a combined $75 entry fee. This years player pack will includ a disc and a Roll Away Disc Golf event shirt! (The last day to order a shirt is Thursday March 21, all registrants will receive a Roll Away Prodigy Distortion substitute after that day) $40 course fee that Pros and Ams must pay. Course fee includes (Facility rentals/ basket rentals/ bathrooms/ insurance etc. ) Players party/ Distance competition Saturday after round concluded with beer from Drowned Valley Brewing Company!! Saturday evening glow round doubles with prize pack provided by Gravity Disc Golf ! Camping included Friday and Saturday night. There are a number of Cabins and Glamping tents that can be rented for the event through the Kingston Downs website. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about them. In the case of a playoff, we will start sudden death on Hole 12, 13, 14, 15 and 11 in a loop until someone wins.
