Kingston Downs Classic

This year marks the fourth annual Kingston Downs Classic! The Kingston Downs Classic is a B-Tier played over two days, one round each day. Kingston Downs is a family-owned and operated 5,000+ acre property situated on the Etowah River, conveniently located a few miles outside of Rome, GA and 45 minutes north of metro Atlanta. Our course will be set on a small section of the property with the Pavilion serving as tournament central. Camping is available and at no cost to the players, on site for Friday and Saturday night. The course is designed for Advanced/Open players but with its mostly open fairways, anyone who is an experienced tournament disc golf player should be able to easily navigate the course. Because this course is designed for higher level players, there will be no Novice or Juniors divisions offered. Everyone will play from the same tees to the same baskets. Other divisions, while open to sign up, will be consolidated if necessary and according to current PDGA rules. Kingston Downs is a Temp Course and will have natural teeing surfaces The course will be open to practice Friday all day for everyone! Am entry will consist of a $35 players pack and a $40 course fee for a combined $75 entry fee. This years player pack will include a disc and a Roll Away Disc Golf event shirt! (The last day to order a shirt is Thursday March 24, after that date, all registrants will receive a Roll Away stamped Prodigy Distortion as substitute) The course fee of $40 includes facility rentals, basket rentals, bathrooms, insurance etc. and is not included in the payout or player pack calculations for either Pro or Am players. Players party/ Distance competition Saturday after the final card finishes their round. Saturday evening glow. Team up with a friend for glow doubles with prize pack! There are a number of Cabins and Glamping tents that can be rented for the event through the Kingston Downs website. In the case of a playoff, we will start sudden death on Hole 12, 13, 14, 15 and 11 in a loop until someone wins.
