Join Us for the inaugural Lake Ontario Open! Experience the challenge and beauty of three of Ontario's top disc golf courses at the first-ever PDGA Lake Ontario Open. This exciting tournament will be hosted across three premier locations: the picturesque Newcastle, the challenging Cedar Creek, and the stunning Haute Goat. Each course features a mix of tight wooded lines and open field holes, demanding a full range of throws and a diverse selection of discs to navigate the varied terrain effectively. Participants will have the opportunity to play each course once, with two rounds scheduled for Saturday and one round on Sunday. The tournament format, whether scheduled tee times or shotgun start, will depend on the number of registrants. Players can expect to tee off for Round 1 on Saturday at 9 AM and for Round 2 at 1 PM. On Sunday, tee times will likely be scheduled between 9 AM and noon, with players finishing between 1 and 4 PM. Prizes and photo opportunities for champions will occur as each division finishes their round. Whether you're competing or spectating, the Lake Ontario Open promises a weekend of top-tier disc golf and scenic holes. The order of play will vary by division, with specific details to be announced as the tournament date approaches. Don’t miss out on this unique event—register and mark your calendars now! Pro divisions: (layout assignments-NC-Newcastle, CC-Cedar Creek, HG-Haute Goat) MPO, MP40(NC-Long, CC-Long, HG-Gold-M) MP50 (NC-Long, CC-Long, HG-Blue) FPO (NC-Long, CC-Short, HG-Gold-F) 2 days – 3 courses $125 ($80 pass through fee/$45/pro cash +$750 added cash) Divisions fewer than 4 may be combined Amateur divisions: MA1(NC-Long, CC-Long, HG-Blue) MA2/MA40 (NC-Short, CC-Short, HG-Blue) MA50/FA1/2 (NC-Short, CC-Short, HG-White) JU18 (NC-Short, CC-Short, HG-White) $95 ($80 pass through fee/ $15 player pack and/or prizes) 2 days – 3 courses (Divisions fewer than 4 may be combined) Cost Breakdown $25 to Cedar Creek $25 to Haute Goat $25 to Newcastle $3 PDGA fee $2 TD Fee $15 player pack Additional Incentives: CTPs for Pro and Amateur players (1 at least per course) Names on the master trophy for division winners. Optional $5 Ace Pot (all divisions). Aces at any of the 3 courses over the 3 rounds are eligible for the pay out. Total pot is split between all players who ace. We hope this will be the first of an annual event that draws great players to the rolling hills on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario.
