Help us support our local veterans while playing in this year's Let Freedom Fly 5.0. We have partnered with Dynamic Dics and the Veteran's for Vets program and we will be supporting our local VFW Post. Registered players receive a two-disc player's pack. One baseline putter and a premium midrange/driver from Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, and/or Westside Discs. The discs will vary, and no molds are guaranteed. This is a trophy only tournament for the Amateur divisions. Pro division entry fees include the player's pack and the additional money for cash payout. WHO All Pro player, MA1, MA40, and MA2 players (PDGA membership is not required with an additional $10 fee) WHAT Let Freedom Fly 5.0 PDGA sanctioned C-tier disc golf tournament WHEN February 24, 2024 WHERE Newport News Park Disc Golf Course FORMAT Two rounds each consisting of 20 holes. The course will be the tournament basket layout along with two temporary holes 16B and 16C. The baskets are scheduled to be moved into the tournament layout a week before the tournament. The baskets for holes 16B and 16C will be in place the morning of the tournament. The tee and basket locations will be marked with flags. Udisc has been updated with the layouts. Round 1 - All Pro, MA1, MA40 - Long Tees --- MA2 - Short Tees Round 2 - All divisions - Long Tees Note - Holes 13 and 15 use and alternate asphalt tee for the for the long pad. Hole 16B and 16C will only have one tee pad. BASKET RAFFLE We will be raffling off a red, white, and blue Veteran basket from Dynamic Discs on tournament day. All proceeds from the raffles will to the VFW. The drawing for the basket will take place during the awards ceremony after the second round.
