Help a bro and play the MOvember 'Stache Showdown, a 1 round, PDGA-sanctioned XC-Tier and charity event. The $10 PDGA fee for non-members is waived. The round will be played at The Lakes course at Rothwell Park East in Moberly, MO. Entry fee is $25 for all divisions. Tee times will range from 9am to 2pm. Must have at least 3 players per card, maximum of 5. Cards will be set to 10 minute intervals. Stache trophies will be awarded to first place in each division, there are no cash prizes/cash payouts. All net proceeds (entry fees minus expenses) will be donated to the Movember Foundation. Additional donations will be accepted and appreciated! Trophies will be personalized and mailed out after the event. ALL PLAYERS MUST KEEP SCORE: Players who do not turn in a compete scorecard to Tournament Central after the round, including scores for the entire group, will receive a 2-stroke penalty - UNLESS that player kept score with the PDGA Live Scoring. Players may use an alternate method to keep score: -Paper scorecard -UDisc -Another scorecard app However, each of these alternatives must be shown to the TD or the Assistant TD at Tournament Central after their round Note: PDGA Live scoring is the easiest way to find OB rules per specific hole. An ace pot will be available on-site to enter for $5. Sign up when you check-in. If no aces are hit, then the entire ace pot is donated to the Movember Foundation. The ace pot will be split equally among the winners if multiple aces are hit. The Movember Foundation focuses on three key areas of men's health: Mental Health and Suicide Prevention: Movember is focused on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting help-seeking behaviors among men. Prostate Cancer: The foundation works to increase awareness of prostate cancer, encourage early detection through regular screenings, and fund research for better treatments and prevention strategies. Testicular Cancer: Movember aims to raise awareness of testicular cancer, promote self-examination, and support research for early detection and effective treatments.
