PLAYER’S MEETING IS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THIS TOURNAMENT PAGE Two rounds of 18 holes at Mount Airy Forest Disc Golf Course! PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier. Check-in will start at 7:55 am and end at 8:55 am. Round One begins at 9 am. Expect an hour for lunch. Round Two should begin at or before 1 pm assuming all goes to plan. Anticipated ending between 4 pm and 5 pm. No days off at Mount Airy! PRIZING AND PAYOUT INFORMATION -Pro payouts are top 40% of each division in the form of PayPal deposit -Amateur divisions will receive their choice of one of four discs (MSRP $14.99-$17.99) as well as a prize payout to the top 45% of each division in the form of merchandise vouchers, for a total amateur payout which will meet or exceed $25 per player -Divisions with three or more registered participants at 8 am on Monday 9 September will have first place plaques available to winners. Divisions with two or fewer registered participants at that time will not have plaques made. -The optional round one CTP is on Hole 8. The first card, please take the flag and Sharpie and write down the name of the closest lie, and mark that lie with the flag. All other cards, if there is a closer lie please cross out the prior name, write down the new name, and mark the new lie. -There is an optional $3 Ace Fund. Multiple aces will split the pot. If no aces, then 50% will roll over into our first tournament of 2025, and 50% will go to the Greater Cincinnati Disc Golf Association as a donation on behalf of the players. -There will be a raffle at the end of the tournament to give away some free discs and other merch. No extra charge, just show up and play and remain on site at the end of the tournament and you’re in! IMPORTANT NOTES AND NEW RULES FOR 2024 -The Tournament Director MUST strictly enforce the PDGA's new substance use policy including use of alcohol -All players must keep score for all players on their card. If at any time you become unable to keep an electronic scorecard, contact the Tournament Director for a paper scorecard. Failure to turn in a completed and correct electronic or paper scorecard within 30 minutes of the completion of your round results in a two stroke penalty for the round. -Please be respectful of the local neighbors and wildlife by not littering -Pass Through Fees as specified by the PDGA are as follows: $2 PDGA Fee; $2 Tournament Director Fee.
