The Fairfield County Disc Club (FCDC) Presents the 2024 Park City Open Sunday, May 26, 2024 Veterans Park Park Avenue - Bridgeport, CT Tournament Director: Craig Smolin Check in will begin at 7:25 am to 8:45am Shotgun start at 9am sharp – Round 1 Round 2 should start 45-60 minutes (time for lunch) after the last card finishes round 1 Virtual Players Meeting will be conducted via email. PDGA C-Tier and Competition Endowment Project This event is being hosted to benefit the Port 5 Naval Administration who will be the host organization for Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and The Wall That Heals which will be held at Veterans Memorial Park between September 22nd and 29th later this year. Two Rounds Stroke Play 90 Players (65 player amateur cap until 5/15/24) Available spots will then be filled from the waiting list in order of sign up (as determined by the DGS registration system). All professional divisions - Cash Payouts All amateur divisions – Trophies and/or Merchandise Layouts: To be determined based on weather and/or course conditions. All players will be notified of their layout via the players meeting email (to be sent out no later than Friday, May 24, 2024. NOTE TD reserves the right to change layouts for all divisions based on course conditions, weather, and/or daylight for both the first and/or second rounds. Additionally, if course conditions or weather necessitate it, a combination of layouts maybe used MPO, MP40, MP50, MP60 are $55 FPO, FP40, FP50 are $50 All amateur divisions are $45 Amateurs will receive a players pack $2 from each player goes to PDGA for sanctioning Additional player fees to be posted in advance of the event no later than 5/1/24. Minimum $5 from each entry to be donated to Port 5 along with all hole sponsorships. PDGA Digital Scoring will be in play; instructions on how scoring will work for the event will be sent out to the field prior to the event. Ace Pot Ace pot will be in effect. Optional $5 buy-in. If no aces hit, all players in ace pot will throw off for 50% of total with remaining 50% to be donated to Port 5. CTP prizes to be determined Hole Sponsorship: $25.00 For $25 become a hole sponsor! You'll get a nifty copy of your sponsorship sign as well as shout-outs on our social media and at the event. Use the opportunity to advertise your business, or just to broadcast your support for disc golf. You'll also get early access to registration, April 16, 2024, two days before general registration opens on April 18, 2024. (Limited to 18 Tee Signs). All hole sponsorships to be donated to Port 5. Refund policy FCDC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. An unpaid waitlist will be held at Disc Golf Scene, and refunds will be issued in accordance with PDGA guidelines.
