Play for Nathan presented by TreeMagnets

Play for Nathan will be a 2-round c-tier event at Roland Park as a celebration for the life of Nathan Longenecker. Nathan grew up in Lancaster, PA, and transformed from a casual to a passionate disc golfer during the pandemic, like many others. His claim to fame in the Lancaster disc golf community was winning the MA1 division of the December 2020 Silver Bells tournament. As a first-year student at Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia, he was helping grow EMU’s young disc golf team and was looking forward to playing in the College Disc Golf National Championships. This dream and many others were cut short when he was diagnosed with brain cancer in February 2021 and died eight months later in October of that year. Thanks for “playing for Nathan” and helping remember him through this tournament. Player pack is TBD Round 1: Pros/MA1: 10-27 long to long All other divisions: 10-27 short to short (except hole 23 will play short tee to long pin) Round 2: all divisions: 10-27 short to short (except hole 23 will play short tee to long pin) Trophies will be provided to divisions with 3+ players Payouts will be provided via giftcard to TreeMagnets that will be emailed. Please ensure email used to register for the event is correct. Pro payouts will be sent through PayPal. Players have the option of adding on a bagged lunch made by Bomberbers cafe. Lunches will be available upon registration. Bagged lunches will include 1 sandwich, bag of chips, pickle spear, 2 energy balls (peanut butter - oat balls) and a bottle of water. $15.00 each.
