WHAT TO EXPECT- 2 tee timed rounds the first day and a 3rd tee time round on the second day. Pros play from the blue tees all weekend, Advanced (MA1) will play in order blue (1st round), white (2nd round) and blue (3rd round) tees, Intermediate (MA2) will play white (1st round), blue (2nd round) and white (3rd round), all remaining divisions will play white tees for all 3 rounds. Ace pot for all players. DO NOT NEED TO BE A PDGA MEMBER TO ENTER. WAIT THERE'S MORE- During the event on Saturday, we will also be doing a mini game throwing discs off the top of the tower down to the basket pyramid for prizes. prizes are a shirt for hitting the bottom baskets, a disc for hitting the middle baskets and a practice basket for hitting the top basket. WE'RE NOT DONE YET- We will have a raffle with a lot of nice items. Some from Michelob Ultra. AND, AND, AND- Lunch is an option to purchase through registration. Michelob Ultra is our sponsor, so we'll have beer and seltzers for you to enjoy outside your rounds. FIRST 72 PLAYER WILL GET ASHIRT WITH THEIR PLAYER'S PACKS. Sponsors!!!-- Our first sponsor for the Open is LaQiunta Hotel in San Marcos. They are offering a discounted price for a room for $119 a night before taxes (normally $142+ a night before taxes). This discount ONLY applies to registered players, and you can book your room during the registration process. Flying Armadillo DGC, House of the Flying Disc, Disc Nation, Michelob Ultra, Good Dog Disc. Entry fee includes: Payout- $60 per Pro player, $40 per Am player. Green fees- $20 per player PDGA fee- $2 per player Tourney fees- $8 per player- water and other mics. stuff needed for the event that sponsorships didn't cover. Ace pot- $10/$5 per player, Pros will have a separate pot from Ams, pot will go to next year expenses if not hit. Additional $20 inconvenience fee if you want to enter AFTER registration closes.
