Rockin' with the Ladies (a Throw Pink event) (CEP Charity - Rated)

The 2024 Rockin' with the Ladies event is a two-round XC-tier charity event that will be held at Tyger River. LAYOUT All players will play the short tees for each hole. In addition, there will be alternate short versions of holes 15, 17 and 18 in play (15 from the opening in front of the short tee, 17 tee from the DZ to the island, 18 tees alternate short tee beside the light pole, before the DZ). Hole 6 (par 4) and hole 11 (par 5) will play to the RED basket, while hole 16 will play to YELLOW. RULES and OB   The Rules and OB are listed below. All paved areas are OB There is no OB line between holes 10 and 18 Most tall grass areas are played as OB; specifics for each hole are listed below Hole 1: road and beyond Hole 3: road and beyond Hole 8: road and beyond Hole 10: tree line to the right is OB, marked by painted line; fence beyond the basket is OB Hole 11: tree line to the right is OB, marked by painted line; tall grass is OB. The short grass path going to the basket is in bounds. Hole 12: tall grass is OB, marked by painted line Hole 13: tall grass is OB, marked by painted line Hole 14: mando on right hand side of fairway, must go to the left of the tree; must go to drop zone with +1 stroke penalty (marked beside tree) Hole 15: tall grass is OB, marked by painted line Hole 16: tall grass is OB, marked by painted line and all short grass is in-bounds Hole 17: this is a true island hole; island will be represented by a painted line; normal OB rules apply to any drive that crosses inbounds; any drive that never crosses in bounds will go to the drop zone located at the edge of the island where the walking path meets the island with a +1 stroke penalty. Hole 18: any paved surface is OB ALTERNATE TEES Hole 15 (par 5, 499’): Players will tee from the opening in front of the short tee. Hole 17 (par 3, 199’): Players will tee from the DZ in the first island. Hole 18 (par 3, 276’) : Players will tee from an alternate short tee beside the light pole, before the DZ. ACE POOL There will be an optional $5 entry for the ace pool available at sign-up. If there are no aces, the ace pool money will be donated to Throw Pink. The Great Courses of SC will donate an additional $50 to the ace pool. CTPs There will be divisional CTPs during the first round which can be . Holes will be announced the day of the event. RAFFLE - Throw Pink DISCatcher EZ Target (see pictures) - Other items TBD. Tickets will be available the day of the event for $1 each. PAYOUT Pros: cash payout (w/ trophies) AMs: trophy only (1st-3rd in each division) PLAYER'S PACK TBA - soon! Must be signed up by November 1 to be guaranteed a player's pack.* LUNCH Lunch will be provided for all players and consist of hot dogs, baked beans, chips, and a drink. PDGA MEMBERSHIP The $10 fee for non-members will be waived for all competitors.
