Welcome to Ruby Run! A 1 round, flex-start PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier on the Red course here at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort. This event will include opportunities to help raise funds for our upcoming B-Tiers! More details below. Registration through Discgolfscene.com is required. This is a PDGA Sanctioned event and follows all PDGA rules, players are responsible for knowing and adhering to all PDGA rules. There have been several big rule changes made for the 2024 season. Please make sure you have reviewed all the new and current rules. The 2024 rule revisions can be found on the PDGA website at https://www.pdga.com/news/pdga-official-rules-disc-golf-and-competition-manual-updated-2024 Complete PDGA rules for sanctioned events can be found at https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf --------------------------- ENTRY FEES: PRO $55: - Course Fee/Discounted Day Pass ($15) - PDGA Fee ($2) - Cash Payouts via PayPal ($38) AM $55: - Course Fee/Discounted Day Pass ($15) - PDGA Fee ($2) - Player Pack ($18) - Scrip Payouts via Shop Credit ($20) Optional CTP buy in = $3 Optional Ace Pot = $2 --------------------------- LAYOUTS: All divisions will be playing 1 round on the Red course. --------------------------- TEE TIMES: Flex start; players will choose a card/tee time. Cards of up to 4 players can include players competing in a mix of divisions, all cards must have a minimum of 3 players. If cards do not have 3 players, card adjustments will be made Saturday Morning and players will be notified via email --------------------------- PAYOUTS & TROPHIES: PROS - Cash payouts to the top 45% of each division via PayPal. AMS - Scrip/store credit to the top 50% of each division to the Kayak Point DGR Pro Shop. If there is a tie for 1st place in a division and both players are present, a sudden death playoff will be held starting on hole 1 on the course played that day. If both players are not present for the playoff, payouts will be split evenly between those who tied. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place winner in each division. If there is a tie for 1st place and a playoff is not completed, we will make efforts to produce additional 1st place trophies so all players who tied get one. PLAYOFFS: In the event of a tie for first place, players will have the option to play a sudden-death playoff consisting of holes 1-4 on the Red course. As this is a flex-start tournament, there is a possibility that one or more of the players in a tie can't stay for a playoff. In that case, there will be a tie for 1st place and the winning will be split evenly. A second trophy can be provided but will take some time. --------------------------- GOLF CARTS: Golf carts will not be available to players during tournament rounds, though they will be available for rent to spectators or for rounds following tournament rounds. --------------------------- LIVE SCORING: Scoring will be handled using PDGA Live Scoring at pdga.com/score. The passcode will be provided during check-in. REMINDER NEW 2024 RULE- ALL PLAYERS MUST KEEP SCORE VIA PDGA LIVE SCORING OR A PAPER SCORE CARD FOR EVERYONE ON THEIR CARD AND TURNED IN WITHIN 30 MIN OF FINISHING YOUR ROUND. Additionally, players are required to be at the starting hole at least 5 minutes before your scheduled tee-time. ----------------------------- FOOD & DRINK: Outside alcohol and food are prohibited on the property.
