Rusty Ratings is back!! The scholar withers away in the library, studying his books over a long winter. As spring makes its way, the scholar frantically seeks PDGA-sanctioned tournaments to shake the rust. They need not seek further. Shake off that rust like a scholar at the Rusty Scholar in Cranbrook! The CVDGA, with the help of local clubs, are hosting a point series over the span of 4 weekends in the early spring. The series was created as a way to get some PDGA rated rounds early in the season while easing players into competitive disc golf. The series consists of three low-cost tournaments, and the Rocket Bear, one of Western Canada’s fastest-growing events. $5 of each registration goes towards your division series total, with the winner taking home the pot for all 5 tournaments. REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 10:00pm the night before each event Prizes and Payouts: Tournament-specific payouts stay within each pool! Pros: Split amongst the top 40% Amateurs: Each player will take a prize from the prize table with an average prize value of over $20 per person. Players will pick prizes in order of where they finished. All of the 1st place finishers will choose their prize simultaneously, and the second-place finishers won't be far behind. So don’t delay if you find something good!
