The 2nd Annual Conway Junior Disc Golf Championship 2024 presented by Discmania

Welcome everyone to The 2nd Annual Conway Junior Disc Golf Championship 2024 presented by Discmania. Please remember all juniors age 12 and under must have a designated chaperone with them during the event. Last year we stacked the players pack (bag, 3 disc set, stickers, water bottle, etc..) and this year we intend to do the same. Over $100 in value for the kiddos are we are very thankful for the huge support from Discmania and The City of Conway. We scheduled this event for the first week in June keeping in mind all the other juniors events thus giving everyone the opportunity to participate. You will find both courses are friendly to any skill level. But keep in mind your skills better be sharp because OB is plenty on this course. First course will be played at Smith Jones Park (18 holes “2” rounds) and then we will finish off the day at Sherwood Forest Park 9 hole layout for top (3) scores for all divisions. Please note MJ12 and below will have custom tee locations. If you haven’t played Smith Jones or Sherwood Forest Park then you need to check them out. Both courses are perfect for junior events. Shorter holes but OB is present so they require accuracy over distance. Champions pride themselves on making putts and approaching. This course will present plenty of opportunities and it’s up to you to decide which shot to take. Will you be crowned the Conway Junior Disc Golf Champion? We will soon find out. The top of the ditch running left and right, parking lot to the right of the basket, road and beyond, and also the ditch on the left going toward the houses is considered OB. 4A 105 4B 135 Mando you must go right of the white paint marked on tree. Proceed to JR tee with a stroke penalty if mando is missed. Island hole with drop zones for each pin location. If you miss the island please proceed the DZ with a stroke penalty. 5 207 Inside any fenced in area, sidewalk and beyond, and road and beyond are all considered OB. 6A 105 6B 100 Triple mandatory - if you miss the mandatory OR go OB on your drive please proceed to the DZ with a stroke penalty. Road and beyond and inside any fenced area is considered OB. 7 140 The top of the ditch and beyond, road and beyond, and inside any fenced area is considered OB.
