ABOUT THE COURSE The course is still being completed. If you want to get a practice round in, search for the mere disc golf course on Udisc. We currently have it unlisted until it is finished. All the baskets are in and 30 of the 36 pads are poured. It does not have signage right now, so you will need Udisc to navigate. A couple of the holes will be cleaned up a bit more before we open as well (like 9 and 13). Tournament Central will be under a car port by the gate. SUMMARY 2 rounds 18 Holes Shotgun Start We are finalizing some plans right now, but we expect to include a temp hole or two depending on the registration numbers. This tournament will use the Official Rules of Disc Golf from the PDGA for play This tournament is set up as a fundraiser to benefit the Jackson County Disc Golf Club a 501(c)(3) organization. All proceeds will go directly to supporting disc golf in and around Jackson County Florida at Citizen's Lodge Park and another course coming soon! We will use PDGA live scoring to keep score. pdga.com/live use code jco25 PLAYER'S PACKS + PRIZES + PAYOUT You may opt out of the player's pack (you will still be entered in the CTP and play for a trophy)- you're basically selling your player's pack back to the club for $20 - This will save $20 per player - Simply select the "No Player's Pack" option at checkout. MPO and FPO divisions will play for 100% payout after the per player PDGA fee. This is a True Amateur event. Player's Packs for Amateurs: $50 value per person -- 1 base putter from a selection -- 2 premium plastic discs from a selection which includes putters, mids, fairways, and distance drivers from Dynamic Discs, Westside Discs, and Discmania -- 1 Dynamic Discs Towel -- Entry in the CTPs which includes mugs, retrievers, stools, and an umbrella. --Trophies for the winners (see below) Trophies will be ordered based on registration 14 days before the event, One player: no trophy required. 2-4 players: 1st place only. 5-12 players: 1st and 2nd place. 13+ players: 1st through 3rd place. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Need at least 4 players per division (unless it is defined as underserved) - If you would like a division that is not available, please let me know. Divisions will be final 14 days prior to the tournament. I will trim divisions that are not full at that point. Exceptions may be made depending on which divisions have players and which layouts they are playing. Please note that players who play MPO or FPO and accept cash will have their status set as professional in the PDGA system. I can honor requests to play with another player who is in the same division as you during the first round only. Second round assignments are based on first round score. LAYOUTS There are two layouts at the course, long and short pads. Players will play from one of the two based on their division as listed below. MPO, FPO, MA1, MA2, FA1 - Long tees All other divisions - Short Tees FUNDING This is a breakdown of the fees associated with registration as required by the PDGA. Be aware that I personally, as a tournament director, make no profit from the tournament at all. Any fees listed below that would go to a director or would profit an individual are donated directly to the Jackson County Disc Golf Club a 501(c)(3) organization. AM value --$3 per player PDGA fee --$3 per player TD fee (donated directly to the Club) --$50 per player to player's pack --$4 per player for CTP's --Total provided value is $60 at the minimum Pro Value --100% of pro entry fee will be paid out as cash after the $3 per player PDGA fee If you have any questions or concerns about where your money is going, please reach out to me. REFUNDS The Jackson County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the PDGA refund policy 1.03 in the Competition Manual.
