The Battle of Central Alberta Part 7 Date: Saturday September 28, 2024 Time: All Day Format: Singles Location: Red Deer Polytechnic PDGA Tier: C-Tier Sanctioned: PDGA Event Details: The Battle of Central Alberta Part 7 is a one-day, 2-round PDGA sanctioned tournament showcasing a new test layout on the Red Deer Polytechnic campus grounds. This is your chance to experience the future of disc golf at Red Deer Polytechnic! Divisions & Fees: Pro Divisions: $60.00 Amateur Divisions: $60.00 (Includes a player's pack valued at over 100% of entry) Junior Divisions: $50.00 (Includes a player's pack valued at over 100% of entry) Non-PDGA Member: +$10.00 CADGA Club Members: -$5.00 Post-Secondary Students: $10 off (with valid student ID) We will start with a wide selection of divisions, but please note that we may merge you into another division if there are not 3 people in your division. For those who are unsure which division to enter, here are some guidelines to help you out: MPO - Any rating, but we recommend focusing on players over 920-930ish. FPO: Any rating, but we recommend focusing on players over 850-860ish. MA1 - 900 or above MA2 - 899 and below MA3 - Newcomers or casual players FA1 - 751 and above FA2 - 750 and below Event Fees: $10 Green Fee (goes towards course development and maintenance) $2 PDGA Sanctioning Fee $5 Event Administration Fee Schedule: Waitlist: A $10 non-refundable fee will be charged to join the waitlist. If you are moved to the registered players list, this fee will be deducted from your entry. Refunds and Withdrawals: We will adhere to the PDGA's withdrawal and refund policy (PDGA Competition Manual 1.03). Additional Notes: - This event is conveniently held on the same day as the bustling Red Deer Farmers Market. - Free parking is available at Red Deer Polytechnic. - Follow the signs to the tournament registration area.
