The Boulder Ladies Disc Golf Club presents a PDGA Women’s Global Event

WGE GLOBALLY: Over the weekend of May 18th and 19th, women from all around the world will play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event! Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament will be submitted by the tournament director(s) and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." WGE LOCALLY IN BOULDER: On May 18th, Alessandra (Ali) Lance and the Boulder Ladies Disc Golf Club will be hosting a women's-only disc golf tournament that is part of the PDGA's global event! Registrants will play two rounds of disc golf at the Valmont Disc Golf Course (Boulder, CO), with an hour lunch break between the rounds. After tournament play is over, awards will be given out as well as other exciting prizes and fun activities ... more info to come! THE GOODS - PAYOUTS & PRIZES: Pro Division winners will be paid via PayPal within 48 hours of the end of the event. Am Divisions will receive a players pack stuffed with excellent goodies and a tournament shirt. Trophies will be awarded to Am division winners. All divisions will have CTP prizes to play for throughout the day as well as the opportunity to participate in post-tournament activities like an awards ceremony, a raffle, etc. ACE POOL: The ace pool will be split evenly with players if more than one ace is hit during tournament play. If no aces are hit during either round, a CTP throw-off will happen at the end of the day and the 3 players with their discs closest to the basket will receive $ from the ace pool. VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers will make this event run smoothly! Volunteer roles will include but will not be limited to course spotters, course set-up/tear-down, etc. I will ask volunteers to commit to the entire day. Volunteer participation is free and lunch will be provided. SPONSORS & DONATIONS: 18 hole-sponsorship spots are available; first come first serve. Once your sponsorship has been submitted, please contact Alessandra (Ali) with your business logo so she can ensure your logo gets added to your hole tee sign -- send email to: [email redacted] & include your desired hole number. The funds from the sponsorship will go directly towards the event (players packs, course signage, etc). Additional donations can be done through registration on this DGS event. This event is being hosted by the Boulder Ladies Disc Golf Club (BLDGC) with support from the Boulder Disc Golf Club (BDGC). All administrative decisions, including tournament schedules, refunds, etc., are handled through the BLDGC.
