Welcome back to Throwchella! We have upgraded to a PDGA Sanctioned B-Tier Tournament! This year, the tournament will consist of 3 rounds, 1 round per day from Friday - Sunday. Every division will play Reds, Golds and Blues. The Pitch & Putt course will still be part of the event, but will be a bonus ace run event and won't count towards your score or rating. ATTENTION! - ALL Divisions are playing the same courses, including the Gold and Blue courses that are both long and challenging. There have been several big rule changes made for the 2024 season. Please make sure you have reviewed all the new and current rules. PROS: $85 - cash payouts via PayPal for Pros ($46) - course fee/discounted day pass for all 3 days ($36) - PDGA fee ($3) AMS: $85 - player's pack ($26) - payouts in the form of scrip / pro shop store credit ($20) - course fee/discounted day pass for all 3 days ($36) - PDGA fee ($3) OPTIONAL ADD-ONS: - Ace Pot = $2 (Rolls over from previous event run by Kayak Point) - CTP (CTP's will be offered during 1 of the rounds) = $3 - Ace Hunter = $2 per round (See description below) --------------------------- TEE TIMES/GROUPS: Cards will be grouped by division, with the higher rated divisions teeing off first. (MPO tees off first, followed by MP40, followed by MA1…etc.) Cards will be reshuffled based on score after every round. Tee times start at 8 am every morning. Friday = Gold Course - Tee times every 15 minutes Saturday = Blue Course - Tee times every 15 minutes Sunday = Red Course - Tee times every 10 minutes --------------------------- PLAYER PACKS: Ams will receive a custom stamped tournament disc and dri-fit t-shirt. More details to come! --------------------------- PLAYER CHECK-IN: Players should check-in at the Pro Shop at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time. ----------------------------- ACE HUNTER: Try your hand at an Ace Run contest on the pitch and putt! Most Aces in a single round wins, winner takes all! Play a round on the Pitch & Putt Course with a minimum of 2 other participants while only counting Aces. Take 2 shots off every tee. (You can ace twice on the same hole) Turn in your ace count coupon with at least 2 competitors signatures to the Pro Shop after the round. Whoever hits the most aces in a single round wins 100% of the payouts (paid via scrip to the Pro Shop). Ties will split. Enter and play as many rounds as you'd like at $2/round. Buy more rounds at any time from the Pro Shop. Play anytime Friday - Sunday until the end of the last round. --------------------------- LIVE SCORING: Scoring will be handled using PDGA Live Scoring at pdga.com/score. The passcode will be provided during check-in. --------------------------- PLAYOFFS: In the event of a tie for first place after the final round, tied competitors will play in a sudden death playoff starting on Red 1 --------------------------- FOOD & DRINK: Outside alcohol and food are prohibited on the property. Aces BBQ & Grill will be open from 11am - 5pm, plus the Pro Shop has a variety of snacks and drinks including non-alcoholic and alcoholic options.
