WELCOME to the Throwing Down the Gauntlet at John E. Hejl DGC, an Armory Disc Golf Gold Tier Event Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports! This functions as a stand alone tournament (payouts as normal, etc) PLUS earns points towards the Throwing Down the Gauntlet season tour, a year-long points series of tournaments held across Texas that culminates in our Invitational Championship October 4-5th (see below for more info) In addition to playing for yourself individually, you will also choose a faction to represent (The Steel Legion or The Woodland Syndicate) and your performance will earn points for your chosen side. Join us for the yearly battle between the two and lead your team to victory! Throwing Down the Gauntlet 2025 Winners for each division of 3 or more players will receive an AUTOMATIC bid to the End of Season Championship, where they will compete for THOUSANDS of dollars in added cash + prizes! As part of this we've partnered with MVP Disc Sports, who is offering a MASSIVE yearlong raffle with prizes valued at over $1000. 100% of proceeds from raffle tickets will go directly towards the food bank for their Thanksgiving distribution this year.
