WELCOME to Throwing Down the Gauntlet at John E. Hejl Park at Davidson Creek, an Armory Disc Golf Gold Tier Event Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports! This is the Grand Opening tournament for this course, which went from being a small 9 hole course to a full-on 18 hole attraction-level track that will host this year's Throwing Down the Gauntlet Championship! We're excited to put on the first event out here at this 8000 foot Championship level course, which will utilize both short and long tees as well as short and long pin positions. This functions as a stand alone tournament (payouts as normal, etc) PLUS earns points towards the Throwing Down the Gauntlet season tour, a year-long points series of tournaments held across Texas that culminates in our Invitational Championship in November at John E. Hejl.
