WELCOME to Throwing Down the Gauntlet at McDade, an Armory Disc Golf PLATINUM Tier Event Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports and Wings 'n More! HUGE shoutout to Wings 'n More of Conroe for sponsoring this event and supporting the local disc golf scene, y'all be sure to show them some love in return! This functions as a stand alone tournament (payouts as normal, etc) PLUS earns points towards the Throwing Down the Gauntlet season tour, a year-long points series of tournaments held across Texas that culminates in our Invitational Championship in November (see below for more info) Throwing Down the Gauntlet 2024 Winners for each division will receive an AUTOMATIC bid to the End of Season Championship, where they will compete for $1000s in added cash + prizes! Tournament Day 1 - Tournament Central will be set up by Hole 4, which will also be the starting hole for both rounds - Players Pack for all Amateur divisions will be provided during player check in. CUSTOM WORK from MVP Disc Sports and Armory Disc Golf - Tee times will be listed on the Armory Disc Golf Facebook page and on the official PDGA event page - Round 1 tee times will start @ 9am. - 8 CTP prizes up for grabs for free with registration Tournament Day 2 - Check our Facebook page or PDGA event page for day 2 tee times. - As each division finishes awards will be handed out.
