It remains a part of the Throwing Down the Gauntlet series with normal payout structure WELCOME to Throwing Down the Gauntlet at UC, an Armory Disc Golf Silver Tier Event Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports! This functions as a stand alone flex start tournament (payouts as normal, etc) PLUS earns points towards the Throwing Down the Gauntlet season tour, a year-long points series of tournaments held across Texas that culminates in our Invitational Championship in November (see below for more info) Throwing Down the Gauntlet 2024 Winners for each division will receive an AUTOMATIC bid to the End of Season Championship, where they will compete for $1000s in added cash + prizes! There will be a 1x point multiplier for this event for Throwing Down the Gauntlet Season Points Standings Information on Throwing Down the Gauntlet 2024 can be found here: https://armorydiscgolf.com/pages/throwing-down-the-gauntlet-2024 -This will be a 1 round flex start event held at Universal City Park in Universal City, Texas. Pools - B Pool will be all female divisions, MA50+, MA3&4, and all junior divisions - A Pool will be all Pro divisions, MA1&2 and MA40 Layouts - A Pool will play all LONG Blue tees - B Pool will play LONG Blue tees EXCEPT Holes 7, and 13 Out of Bounds Hole 1: Mando right of tree. Retee if Mando is missed. Water in creek is OB. Hole 2: Mando right of tree, proceed to flagged drop zone if missed. Hole 3:Water on right OB, fences left and beyond OB. Hole 4: Fence left and beyond OB. Hole 5-11: No OB Hole 12: Double Mando, proceed to short box if Mando is missed. Hole 13-15: No OB Hole 16: Water in creek OB Hole 17: Water in creek OB Hole 18: OB fence long. OB concrete curb/parking lot and beyond Tournament Day** - First card tees off 9am
