Vergennes Spring Fling

Welcome to the Vergennes spring Fling 2025!! It is sponsored by the Addison County Aces and Northern Hyzer Disc Golf!! Since the tournament is taking place in March, I will cancel this event if the weather is going to be terrible. If there is snow on the ground the tournament will take place. I will keep track of the weather and make a potential cancellation as as soon as possible. This is the first year the tournament will be a sanctioned PDGA C-Tier!! This tournament is one round of singles play. Here is the schedule; Check-in- 8:00 am Players meeting- 8:45 am Shotgun start- 9:00 am The tournament will be held at Vergennes High School course. We should have the hole assignments sent out Friday night before the tournament. We will also have parking instructions and check-in locations. Depending on turnout, we may have several places to check-in. That information will be in the email sent out before the tournament. The tournament fee breaks down like this; $7 will go to the Addison County Aces $3 will go to the PDGA players' fee $40 will go to payouts We are following the PDGA guidelines for payouts. 40% payout for Pro divisions and 45% payout for AM divisions. Pro payouts will be sent via PayPal 3 days after the event is complete AM payouts will be through Northern Hyzer Disc Golf vouchers. They should be on site to redeem payouts. Layouts- Pro divisions will play Blue tees AM divisions will play White tees Rules- We will have a rule sheet available to use. There is plenty of OBs and Mandos on this course. This tournament takes place at the school, so drugs, alcohol, and tobacco are strictly prohibited!!! Acepot- $5 Please bring cash the day of the tournament. If no aces are hit we will have a CTP throw off after the round. Awards- We are planning to have the awards given out after the round at the Eagles Club in Vergennes. We are planning to have food available. We are also going to set up a small temp course to play after lunch! We will try to get CTP prizes for this.
