Winnemac Fourth For All Flex Start Thursday July 4th, 2024 We are hosting a first-ever pop-up tournament in Winnamec Park on July 4th! We are hoping to get as many locals and kids in the tournament as possible! If you have never played no problem, come out and learn in our Family play area and play a round with one of our volunteers. This is a great way to get introduced to the sport and play a round with some friends or your kids! If you have questions please message me on the forum or email me at [email redacted] PRE REG is suggested. We will accept walk-ups from 9 am-3 pm as we have space. The family area is open from 9 am - 7 pm! You can sign up for your time so you know you have a spot or walk up! For Groups we need at least three to send a group out. Try to bring enough if not we will have some 1 offs we can par with you along with our volunteers! PDGA XC Tier Please join www.pdga.com if you plan on playing more events you get a free disc, magaize, and more! Adults will be ONLY $5!!! ($10 additional for Non-PDGA Members) Kids Play Free!!! no additional fee! You do not need a PDGA number to play but it will be an additional $10 for adults kids fee will be taken care of by the Chicago Disc Golf Authority. Optional Player pack of $20 for 2 discs a Putter and Mid-range disc form Innova and a mini marker along with other goodies!!! If you don't have discs or played before this is a great value! Player Pack: Please Preregister for the player pack we will not have unlimited discs at the event. We will have a disc for those who pre-register and some for walk-ups. We priced this to give an amazing deal and will not have some for everyone. You will get to pick a putter and mid-range disc for the pack. CTP (Closest to Pin) prizes thanks to MINT DISCS, and other giveaways throughout the day for those who sign up! Ace Fund $5 is optional 1 Round of 18 holes will be played at Winnamec Park. Hole 1 will be located off of Damien and Winnemac Ave. Enter in that location and follow the signs to the check-in tent on the Baseball Diamond. Parking: There is free parking all around the park and on side streets. There is a small parking lot by the school but will be taken up around 3 pm by food trucks. So please do not park there. If you have issues parking I can help with side streets if you are not local. Buses run on both Damen and Foster. PDGA Electronic Scoring Required or Scorecards will be provided as backup.
