Women's Open at Raptors

ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT Welcome to the 2nd Annual Women's Open at Raptors! This is the second event for the inaugural 2024 British Columbia Women's Series! The BCWS is a series of 7 events held throughout British Columbia from April to September. Please read all of the information carefully prior to registering. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. It is a PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier, consisting of two rounds, shotgun start in one day. **There will also be a celebration at Fraser Valley Cider Company after the rounds are complete and awards have been given out. It is a ten minute drive from the course. Food, beverages and more fun! Raffle draws will be announced at the cidery. PARTNERS AND FAMILY ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED! Come continue the celebration! We will have PLAYER PACKS for all PRO, AM and JUNIOR divisions SPONSORSHIP MVP DISC SPORTS is our title sponsor for the series. Ryan Penner of RE/MAX Treeland Realty is sponsoring a $1000 ACE POT CHALLENGE on Hole 10. ACE any other hole and choose between a basket or a rangefinder. Shoot the hot round on your card in the final round and get an Ace Runners gift card. Refer a client to Ryan and get a ZUCA cart when their purchase or sale completes. THANK YOU RYAN! FEES PDGA Canada has waived the PDGA non member fee for C Tier events in the series. RAPTORS GREEN FEE $10 if you are not a Raptors Club member SERIES FEE $5 (to series payouts) ADMIN. FEE $2 (used for event sanctioning) OPTIONAL ACE POT $5 If the Ace Pot is not won in this tournament, it will carry over to the Series Championship Tournament where 50% will be used as an overall Series Ace Pot and 50% will be donated to a B.C. Women’s charity to be determined later. JUNIORS Per the PDGA rules, cards with Juniors under 13 MUST be accompanied by a non-playing adult for the duration of each round. SCORING We will be using PDGA digital scorecards for this event, but paper scorecards will be available if you need them. In accordance with Rule 808 Scoring, ALL players on each card MUST keep score. CADDY BOOKS These will be emailed out the week leading up to the tournament.
